The KB Electronics KBDA Series of Digital VFDs consist of 5 inverter models ranging from 1/8 through 5.0 horsepower housed in heavy duty, NEMA-4X (IP-65) die cast aluminum washdown/watertight enclosures for indoor or outdoor use. Digitally programmable, all similar functions are presented in common groups making these Adjustable Frequency Drives easy to install and operate.

The KBDA-27D, Adjustable Frequency Drive is housed in a NEMA-4X/IP-65 wash-down watertight enclosure. It is designed to operate 208/230 Volts, 50/60Hz, 3 Phase AC induction motors used for Machine or Variable Torque (HVAC) applications. It operates from 115 or 208/230 Volts, 50/60Hz, single phase AC input.
Model. The KBDA variable frequency drive is easy to use, easy to install, and programmable. There are eight models available ranging from 1 to 3 HP, in both single and three phase configurations. The casing is powder-coated aluminum and is NEMA 4X approved for wet locations, both indoor and outdoor.
Power Transmissions
RFAC-27D CE Approved AC Line Filter, installs inside KBAC/KBDA-27D (Class A) Manual. Part No. 9479. RFAC-3PS CE Approved 3-Phase AC Line Filter, for use with switch (Class A) Manual. Part No. 9515. RFAC-3PNS CE Approved 3-Phase AC Line Filter, for use with no switch (Class A) Manual. Part No. 9526. Models KBDA-45, 48 – Terminals “L1”, “L2”, “L3” – Designed for 3-phase AC line input only. Rated for 400/460 Volt AC line input only. See Figure 11, on page 19. 1.2 AC LINE FUSING – It is recommended that a fuse (s) or circuit breaker be installed in the AC line. Fuse each conductor that is not at ground potential.
Options: On/Off AC Line Switch, Forward-Stop-Reverse Switch, Run-Stop-Jog Switch, Signal Isolator with Auto/Manual Switch, Class “A” (CE) RFI Filter and Liquidtight Fittings. KBDA Digital Drive – NEMA 4X / IP65 The KBDA Series of Digital Adjustable Frequency Drives consist of eight inverter models rated for 1/8 to 5 horsepower motors.
KBMK Digital Drive – NEMA 1/IP 50. The KBMK Series of Digital Adjustable Frequency Drives consist of two inverter models rated for 1/8 to 1 horsepower motors. These drives are housed in NEMA 1 / IP 50 aluminum enclosures. The KBMK-24DF contains a built-in CE approved AC Line Class “A” Industrial Standard RFI (EMI) Filter.

DESCRIPTION. The Power On/Off Switch assembly is designed to provide a positive AC line power disconnect. It can be installed in lieu of, or in addition to, the factory installed Start/Stop Switch assembly.
